The GOLF MOVE™
It's NOT how they do it - It's How YOU DO IT!!
Golfers bring with them to the practice range, golf course and lesson tee preconceived concepts that are fundamental to their skill development and progress - or lack thereof. More often than not, golfers’ concepts are acquired from random and disjointed sources – like golf tips and commentary - very unlike most fundamental skills we learn in life.
Typically golfers begin learning HOW to swing in parts. Things like “keep your left arm straight,” “keep your head down,” “shift your weight” and “finish on balance” become ingrained concepts for what they must do in order to hit a ball. If the results are undesirable, more information is added like “cock your wrists,” “keep your knees flexed,” “don’t sway,” and soon golfers’ minds are swimming in a virtual soup of commands that is supposed to produce a golf shot that flies “straight and true.”

Together with your mind and golf club, a world-class GOLF MOVE™ is a dynamic action that triggers hitting ball-to-target (the true purpose). There is no one part of the GOLF MOVE™ that makes it work to create the desired outcome – all the parts work in harmony to deliver the club to the ball.
Learning what you are doing with the club is a primary task. The move you produce will be an effect, not a cause. In other words, you will plan the club movement in relation to how you want the ball fly, and your body movement is the mechanism used to execute your plan.
You’ll note that we do not use the word “swing,” because our point relative to intent is club movement, not swing parts. You MOVE the club through impact to create the shot you chose. You MOVE your body to MOVE the club. Thus, the GOLF MOVE™.
The entire process can be summed up as: Your intended shot dictates a club movement plan that ignites your body movement to move the club as needed to hit the shot you desire.
